I have experience working with individuals who have dual diagnosis disorders, experienced trauma, grief and loss, ODD, depression, and anxiety. One of the most rewarding aspects of therapy is learning about yourself!

My approach to therapy is person-centered and strength based to meet a client’s goals through a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship, while navigating through life’s obstacles. My goal is to provide an environment where clients can gain confidence and feel empowered to improve their mental and physical health. I am currently trained in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Exposure and Response, and Somatic techniques.

I am currently seeing clients ages 15 and older. Please reach out with any questions!

Amber Bruer
MSW, LMSW
Hello, and welcome. I'm so glad you're here, and I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey. My name is Amber, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota, along with Bachelor’s degrees in both Social Work and Psychology.

As a compassionate and genuine clinician, I strive to bring hope, warmth, and encouragement into the therapeutic space. Clients often describe me as kind, attentive, and someone who brings light into even the darkest rooms—with humility and deep respect for each person’s unique path.

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that healing isn’t just about recovering from pain—it's also about reconnecting with your true self. Together, we’ll explore tools and strategies to help you navigate life’s obstacles and rediscover the strength and confidence that already lives within you.
I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention. I’m especially passionate about working with survivors of trauma, neurodivergent individuals, those impacted by the foster care system, farmers and ranching families, and people who have experienced homelessness, incarceration, or severe mental illness.

I work with individuals ages 10 and up, and my clinical experience spans child welfare, community mental health, and correctional settings. I support clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, anger management, personality disorders, and schizophrenia.

Above all, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you don’t have to carry your burdens alone—where healing, learning, and growth can take place, together.
